Overview of Position
This position is a full time position.  The selected Candidate will perform product configuration, training, support and any additional required customization for new clients and for new updates to existing products.  Individual is expected to operate under moderate supervision, reporting directly to the team lead.  The position is challenging and Emphasys is looking for top candidates that are looking to learn fast and contribute on day one. 
 
Various Duties and Responsibilities
60% - Perform somewhat complex product configuration, analysis, and training activities which may require some research:
 
  • Perform configuration and training over the web and also in person on occasion
  • Follow up to ensure thorough understanding and mastery of particular elements of the software
 
30% Performs somewhat complex client needs discovery and expectation setting for assigned products and prepares for a successful education and knowledge transfer with new clients.
 
10% - Researches and understands technical changes within the market and within our client base.
 
Education and Work Experience
Individual must be a graduate of a 4-year college or university.  1-3 years of experience in a technical system support is a plus.
 
Ideal Knowledge and Skills
Individual must have general technical knowledge in software, education, strong writing skills, good communications and interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment.  Individual must be comfortable with a variety of software products and can quickly learn and apply new applications. Familiarity with relational database tools and SQL is a plus although not a pre-requisite.
