Description

A software account executive is a sales professional. They are responsible for establishing new business, developing current business relationships, ensuring client satisfaction, and helping manage ongoing client relationships. They typically work with a high degree of autonomy and needs to be a self starter. They are hungry to bring on new clients with high energy and a focus on constantly challenging themselves. Domain knowledge/experience in Software Applications & Financial Services preferred.

 

Key Roles and Objectives

  • A software account executive seeks and follows leads to acquire new business and service the current client base to expand market share.
  • Seeks out purchasing decision makers and develops working relationships with them.
  • Delivers presentations highlighting the products and services of the company.
  • Assist in on-boarding, training, and support of new and current clients.
  • Works toward exceeding predetermined quotas set by their supervisor.

 

Requirements for success

  • A history of successfully selling enterprise software to business.
  • Possess exceptional communication skills and a polished oral and written presentation style.
  • Possess superior interpersonal skills to create a rapport with people of all demographics.
  • Is confident, ambitious and self-motivated.
  • Thrives when working independently and be able to work within a group for large deals.
  • Be a keen listener, able to articulate client needs.
  • Knowledge of Investment Banking or Loan Servicing preferred

Specific Expectations within the first 12 months:

  • Within 3 months become a Subject Matter Expert on all Emphasys Product Suites
  • Within 6 months meet minimum sales expectations/attrition goals for the group.
  • Within 9 months become a top performing Account Manager.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000 plus commissions
